Prepare for every journey
Smart Scandinavian design
The Sport Weekender 42 is built on Scandinavian design, in true Nimbus tradition, worked outwith care so the boat stays comfortable and easy to use. It features the award-winning Nimbussidewalk, which opens up the interior and keeps movement around the deck easy and safe.
The interior layout and multifunctional seating arrangements are specially designed for social activities and entertaining. The multiple large social areas are perfect for hanging out with friends or family, relaxing, taking a swim or soaking up the sun on either the fore deck or on the aft deck. The W11 also includes new features such as folding side balconies for added space and flexibility when anchored and an optional hydraulic swim platform that extends aft of the engines so you guests on board can be closer to the water.
The cockpit of the W11, similar to the W9, offers superior protection with a large window screen and seating for three. The standard open boat is equipped with a targa, but an optional large electric sun-top similar to that of the T11 can also be added.
Below deck there is space for four people to stay comfortably overnight in two spacious berths and a spacious bathroom with toilet and shower.
Extend the weekend, travela little further, and spend the days,
and the nights at anchor, with the people you care about.
On the water
The Sport Weekender 42 runs on the same air-lubricated twin-stepped hull as the Sport Tender42 and the Sport Coupé 42, with a razor-sharp bow section and a low planing threshold. It runsdry and stable, and the speed range reaches past 45 knots.
The boat is fitted with twin MercuryVerado outboards, V8 2×300 hp or V10 2×425 hp, both with Mercury Joystick Piloting and anintegrated bow thruster for easy close-quarters manoeuvring.
Behind a large windscreen, the helm seats three and keeps the crew warm and protected when
the wind picks up and the rain comes in. The new custom Nimbus helm seats are ergonomic,
with lateral support that means less fatigue on a longer passage
The Sport Weekender 42 is designed to extend your options and take you where you want to go,with more space and more to do on board. Simplicity and ease of use guided every decision, andthe comfort that comes from that is something you feel the moment you step onboard.

Lounge and large socialising spaces
The heart of the boat is its lounge, a large, multifunctional space that adapts to whatever theweekend asks for: cruising, sunbathing, a swim, entertaining, a long lunch or dinner, or a quietafternoon reading in the shade. The seating reconfigures for the moment, and there are sunbedsfore and aft for the hours in the sun.
A foldable side balcony on the starboard side opens the lounge over the water at anchor. Foldedout, the deck steps down to sea level and doubles the social footprint; folded in, it returns to thehull line. It is central to how a weekend at anchor works. The new extended swim platform,double-mould and structurally integrated with the hull, reaches toward the water, and an optionalhydraulic platform for the outboards lowers to serve as a passerelle when moored.
The outdoor galley sits aft, close to the seating, so lunch comes together with everyone stillaround. The new aft-deck seating adds side cushions that turn stowage into more seating whenthe boat fills with people. The open boat comes with the new Targa T-top, styled after the iconicNimbus 32 Ballista, with an optional electric soft-top for when you want more cover.
Who is the Sport Weekender 42 for?
The Sport Weekender 42 is made for the boater who wants to make the most of their weekendsand short trips. It has the space to entertain a crowd and the two cabins to keep four onboardovernight, so a good day on the water becomes a good weekend. For the people who wouldrather extend the weekend and travel a little further to spend it with the ones they care about.
The W11 is designed to extend your options, take you where you want to go fast, with more space and features on board. Simplicity and ease of use were key considerations in its development, resulting in a boat with next-level comfort to maximize easy living.
