What's new?

Striking new exterior design
The extended swim platform with double mould construction offers structural integration with the hull and closer connection to the water. New stainless steel railing combined with new hull decor features the Nimbus logo in new chromed, giving all models a more distinctive appearance.

New helm seats with ergonomic design
Completely reimagined helm seats in custom Nimbus design deliver exceptional comfort for extended time at the helm. Enhanced ergonomics and lateral support fmean less fatigue on longer passages.

Refinements across all models

Beyond the visible changes, extended swim platform, new helm seats, striking exterior design with stainless steel décor. The entire 12 Series incorporates improvements to ventilation, lighting, sound routing, and serviceability.

The new Mercury Joystick Piloting facilitates intuitive system monitoring, with joystick control and integrated bow thruster available across the range with Mercury outboards. Volvo Penta inboards are available on both Commuter 12 and Tender 12, with optional assisted docking package with joystick control. Both systems make close-quarter maneuvering effortless and safe.

The optional hydraulic swim platform for outboard engines brings guests closer to the water and serves as a passerelle when moored. New windscreen wiper systems and updated illumination enhance visibility and ambiance across all models. New aft deck seating arrangement with side cushions creates additional seating possibilities on the aft sides of the deck, transforming storage areas into comfortable social spaces.

Enhanced social spaces

The W12 features the new Targa version with canopy in the style of the iconic Nimbus 32 Ballista, bringing heritage design into modern functionality. The starboard side balcony creates openness and flow for relaxation and entertaining.

Our owners told us what they loved most. The 12 Series delivers more of exactly that. These aren't changes for the sake of change. They're refinements that serve ease of use, social connection and time together on the water."

Jonas Göthberg

Commercial Director at Nimbus Boats

Who is the T12 for?

The 12 Series is designed for experienced boaters who value Scandinavian design, time together, and reliable quality. Whether it's a weekend with family, a day out with friends, extended cruising with those who matter most, or quiet moments at anchor,  the 12 Series serves those who appreciate thoughtful design and the freedom to enjoy the water on their own terms.

“Whether the boat is used on the Norwegian West Coast, around the Mediterranean, or on the North American east coast, owners value protected comfort, reliable performance, and thoughtful functional Scandinavian design,” says Jonas Göthberg, Commercial Director at Nimbus Boats. “The 12 Series delivers exactly that.”

Each model serves its purpose with precision. The Commuter 12 excels as a year-round vessel for long-distance transport, easily transforming from closed to open configuration. The Weekender 12 extends weekend possibilities with enhanced social areas and increased storage for gear and water toys. The Tender 12 remains the versatile walk-around for those who appreciate meticulous design and unlimited possibilities.

All three models provide exceptional freedom of movement and spacious layouts with flexible seating arrangements that have become signatures of the series.

Nimbus User Interface

This new Nimbus UI will give the user an easier understanding and monitoring of different data/values that are relevant for the boat. The UI is consciously stripped down and developed for user-friendliness. You will get all the info that you need in a few different predefined screens in your MFD. This is yet another step for Nimbus, always developing user-friendly and intuitive solutions for the conscious boat owner.

The Startpage is the first screen shown when the MFD is started, giving a clean Nimbus welcome before entering the predefined Nimbus UI pages. It sets the tone and provides a smooth start into the system
The Nimbus homepage is a welcome page with useful values and data, giving a quick overview from the helm seat of the boat’s status plus some stereo functionality.
The Driving page shows a relaxed and stripped down view of key engine data and installed systems like interceptors and depth sensors. You will have an easy overview of your speed, RPM and consumption, and you can also run the Driving page in split screen for an intuitive view of charts and driving data at the same time
In split screen, you can pair charts with the Driving page, giving the helmsman an intuitive way to see the charts and driving data at the same time.
The Tank page shows a more detailed view of the tanks installed, so from the helm seat you can quickly see if it’s time to go to the closest harbor.
The Power page gives an easy, intuitive status of the batteries, shore power connection, charger activity, and current draw in amps. If the option is installed, set the input current limit.
